Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a PTA for a PRN role to provide one-on-one physical therapy in patients’ homes in the Amarillo area. You will work under a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility and independence on a flexible, per-visit basis.

The position offers a self-managed schedule and meaningful, patient-focused care with consistent patient volume in home health settings.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
