Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments.
• Start IVs, administer, and monitor moderate sedation.
• Provide intra-procedure monitoring of vital signs, airway, and patient response.
• Oversee post-procedure recovery and readiness for discharge.
• Provide discharge teaching and ensure patient understanding.
• Document assessments and care in the EMR.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
