Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool CT Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate and timely clinical interpretation while delivering patient-centered imaging services.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • An Associate’s Degree from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT registration as a Registered Technologist is required.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within six months of hire if applicable.
  • Maintain ARRT or NMTCB licensure through continuing education credits and renewals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures per protocols and radiologist directions.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images for clinical interpretation.
  • Monitor patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and related imaging technologies for diagnostic studies.
  • Support efficient patient flow and throughput during assigned shifts.
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
  • Maintain licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
ARRT Registered Technologist
BLS Certification
ARRT-CT Certification eligibility within 6 months
Continuing Education Credits & License Renewal
