Visiting Angels is hiring a Private Duty Caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors in Lawrence and surrounding areas. The role includes helping with personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, all while maintaining safety and dignity at home.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills, plus reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks at clients' homes.
• Encourage exercise and fitness goals.
• Help with medication reminders as prescribed.
• Assist with shopping and meal planning/preparation.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments.
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies when needed.
