The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable pet lovers in the Richmond, CA area to provide in-home dog or cat sitting visits and dog walking when clients are away. This flexible, part-time independent contractor role lets you set your availability and service area, matching you with clients for enjoyable, trustworthy care.

Responsibilities include feeding, play, updates with photos, following care instructions, and occasional medication administration within your experience.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for dogs or cats, especially as a pet sitter.
• Ability to handle dogs from small to large sizes.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Strong written communication.
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
• Smartphone with reliable internet and camera.
• Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids).
• Holiday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pet sitting visits including feeding and fresh water.
• Clean up pet waste and ensure a clean environment.
• Offer playtime and companionship tailored to each pet.
• Send visit updates and photos via the app.
• Follow each client’s detailed care instructions.
• Bring in mail or packages as requested.
• Adjust lights, blinds, or trash as needed.
• Administer medications within your experience and comfort level.
