Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support an elderly male Veteran in his home in Sheldon, IL. The position is long-term and part-time, approximately 8 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that sticks to agreed shifts.

Pay is $25/hour total ($21/hour base + $4/hour bonus) subject to meeting all shifts in the pay period. Experience as a caregiver is required; training is available. A background check and TB skin test are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• Employer performs a background check.
• TB skin test required if not recently done.

Responsibilities

• Assist an elderly male Veteran with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to maintain independence at home.
• Follow the client’s schedule and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with family and health providers as needed.
