Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. in Gillespie, IL, is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male Veteran at home. You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking to keep him safe and independent, with a flexible 10-hour weekly schedule, paid at 25 per hour (21 base plus 4 bonus) when all shifts are completed.

Experience as a caregiver is required; we can train on job specifics. A background check is performed and a TB skin test is required if not recent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help the client stay independent at home.
• Follow the agreed 10-hour weekly schedule and provide care as directed.
• Respond to client needs and document any changes for supervisor.
