Job summary

Freedom Home Care LLC in Springfield, VA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) to deliver compassionate daily living support. This full-time role offers flexible daytime, evening, or weekend blocks and opportunities for skills labs and CNA/HHA certification.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders under the supervising nurse, with room to grow into a Lead PCA through fast-track promotion.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow infection-control protocols.
• Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and safe transfers.
• Guide ambulation, walker/wheelchair use and ROM routines.
• Plan and cook simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks.
• Give timely medication reminders and note changes for the supervising nurse.
• Offer companionship and engage clients with conversations and activities.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments and errands.
