Job summary

Exos is seeking a Substitute Performance Coach for our corporate fitness center, offering flexible scheduling and a dynamic environment for helping clients achieve their health goals.

You will lead group exercise classes, assess fitness levels, and design personalized plans while providing one-on-one guidance. You’ll also support wellness initiatives and help with daily gym operations on-site in Mountain View.

Qualifications

• Current certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE or a Bachelor's in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Proven experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead diverse group exercise classes for varying fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and motivation to clients.
• Assist with program implementation and day-to-day facility operations.
• Be available to pick up shifts as needed.
