Job summary

Patriot Outpatient Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join our team in the Akron, OH area. You will work under the direction of a Registered PT, assisting in evaluations and in developing a rehabilitative plan of care.

The role involves preparing clinical notes and supporting the PT in patient care, with per diem pay and mileage reimbursement. A current PTA license, CPR/BLS certification, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an approved school.
• Must be licensed by the State as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Must have a criminal background check.
• Must have a current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT).
• Assist in evaluation and development of a rehabilitative plan of care and in periodic re-evaluation as required.
• Participate in the preparation of clinical and daily progress notes.
• Assume other duties deemed appropriate and necessary by the PT.
