Job summary

NeighborHealth in Boston, MA is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician for per diem coverage in the Pediatric Same Day Services team. This outpatient role focuses on acute care for children and adolescents in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, have access to Epic EMR and Haiku, and privileges at Boston Medical Center. A flexible schedule and strong commitment to underserved communities are valued.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Massachusetts MD license and DEA certification
• ECFMG certificate if trained abroad; US residency/ internship completed

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day pediatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for acute illnesses and injuries.
• Assess and manage common pediatric conditions in outpatient setting.
• Order and interpret appropriate lab tests and diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure appropriate follow-up.
