The ideal candidate holds an OTA license, has 1-2 years of related experience, and can lift up to 35 pounds. The position offers flexible shifts, daily pay, and a supportive team in a 58-acre campus setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of occupational therapists to plan, implement, or administer programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.
• Monitors patients' performance in therapy activities and provides encouragement.
• Assists in instructing patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
• Observes and records patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior and maintains this information in client records.
• Reports to supervisors on patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
• Performs clerical duties.
