Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist for a per diem/casual position. Shifts include an 8-hour day schedule with standby coverage from 3:30pm-8pm on weekdays and 8am-8pm on weekends, with on-call availability during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• CNMT (California Department of Public Health - Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine).
• Venipuncture.
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific care and imaging procedures with the health care team.
• Adhere to safety standards; participate in QC and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain ongoing clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
