Qualifikationen

• Current Medication Technician/Medication Aide certification as required in New Jersey.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or similar facility setting preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Reliable, punctual and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well as part of a care team.
• Must meet all required background check and onboarding requirements.
• Valid means of transportation.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures
• Accurately document medication administration
• Maintain medication records and follow proper medication protocols
• Monitor residents and report changes or concerns to appropriate nursing staff
• Work alongside HHAs and assist with resident care when an extra hand is needed
• Assist with resident safety, comfort, mobility, and other care needs as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with residents and facility staff
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
• Follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality requirements
