EvergreenHealth is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. Per diem/part-time role with responsibilities including patient check-in, taking histories and vitals, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold WA State MA certification, a current national certification, and a valid BLS. Strong terminology knowledge and EMR proficiency are expected, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and WA State Medical Assistant Certification are required.
• Current national certification through AAMA, AMT, NCCT or AMCA is required.
• Current BLS certification by date of hire is required.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and EMR systems is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and rooms patients per standard.
• Takes patient history and vital signs.
• Prepares patients for exam.
• Assists provider with exam and procedures.
• Maintains sterile environment and adheres to safety standards.
