Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem schedules provide flexible hours and local assignments.

Eligible candidates hold an LPN license, have at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR. The role includes medication administration, patient care, and documentation, with opportunities for rapid pay and weekly pay wherever available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• 1 year of facility-based experience or more.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
