Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to perform in-home visits and provide patient education for therapies like TPN, IVIG, and IV biologics in Georgia. The role is per diem and Independent Contractor, covering Tifton, Macon, Savannah, and Valdosta.

The RN will assess, educate, and coordinate with the pharmacy and care team, ensuring compliance and quality in home infusion programs while supporting patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN state license.
• 2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years experience with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI certification preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts and phlebotomy; pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPR and BLS certification; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits according to the care plan.
• Document nursing interventions in clinical and non-clinical records.
• Collaborate with pharmacy departments as a clinical resource.
• Educate patients on therapy protocols, side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Explain therapy plans and adherence importance to patients and families.
• Develop and update care plans with needed services and supplies.
