Job summary

Inspire Connections Therapy is seeking an occupational therapist to join a collaborative pediatric team that values relationships, individualized care, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

You will provide OT services to children, develop functional goals with families, collaborate with speech and physical therapists, and maintain timely documentation while promoting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Holds a master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy.
• Holds, or is eligible to obtain, an Ohio occupational therapy license.
• Has experience working with pediatric populations; experience supporting autistic and other neurodivergent children is especially valuable.
• Values neurodiversity-affirming, family-centered, and individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy services to children with developmental needs and varying abilities.
• Develop meaningful, functional goals in collaboration with families and the child's support team.
• Use clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices to guide evaluations, treatment planning, and intervention.
• Build strong relationships with children and caregivers while helping families identify everyday strategies.
• Adapt your approach to each child's strengths, interests, needs, and priorities.
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other professionals to support the whole child.
• Communicate with families and colleagues to promote consistency and progress across environments.
• Complete evaluations, documentation, and other clinical responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
