Job summary

Camino Real Community Services is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to support Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services for children aged 0-3 in Guadalupe County. The OT will provide hands-on therapy in home and community settings while coaching caregivers to support their child’s development.

Responsibilities include IFSP development, eligibility assessments, documentation in EHR, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure family-centered care and compliant practice

Qualifications

• Current Texas licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited therapist program.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to family homes or community settings within your assigned area.
• Work one-on-one with infants and toddlers using play-based therapy techniques.
• Coach caregivers on developmental strategies and milestones.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PT, OT, SLP, social workers).
• Document therapy sessions and progress in electronic health records.
• Implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals.
• Provide therapy interventions within therapist scope of practice.
• Educate families on exercises and developmental strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with ECI standards.
