Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to provide pediatric private duty nursing in home settings across Michigan, including Hancock and Toivola. You will perform skilled nursing functions under physician orders, assess client needs, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the care team while aligning with Agency policies and the Nurse Practice Act.

This role offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and benefits such as medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• Graduate, licensed RN in Michigan with current CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and physician orders.
• Administers medications and follows client care plans.
• Documents changes in orders and coordinates with the care team.
• Deliver pediatric private duty nursing including tracheostomy and ventilator support as needed.
• Ensures safety and compliance with agency policies and payor requirements.
