Visiting Angels Evansville is seeking a Patient Care Aide - PCA to provide in-home care to senior clients in Vanderburgh County and surrounding areas. The role includes personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, and medication prompting to help clients stay at home with dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks
