Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Experience working with children or youth with SED or mental health challenges.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with youth and families.
• Comfortable participating in physical and recreational activities.
• Valid Idaho driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to complete an enhanced background check and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Spend one-on-one time with youth in homes or Mana Resources settings.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Provide a safe, positive and structured environment.
• -help youth practice healthy coping skills and emotional regulation.
• Support youth during challenging moments with patience and de-escalation.
• Build on each youth's strengths, interests, and abilities.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, supervisors, and the team.
• Complete required documentation and follow program guidelines.
