Job summary

Shiloh House is seeking Part-Time Treatment Counselor float to work with at-risk youth (ages 7–18) in Colorado. You will provide direct supervision in residential settings, collaborate with clinicians and educators, and support youth through treatment plans in a structured environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on care, safety, boundaries, and de-escalation. Returning staff receive training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old (22 may be considered).
• Multiple acceptable education paths listed in the postings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and structure for youth in a residential setting.
• Assert and maintain firm, consistent boundaries while supporting youth.
• Work with clinicians to implement treatment and behavior plans.
• Use verbal de-escalation techniques in high-stress situations.
• Conduct security checks and monitoring (room checks, 15-minute checks).
• Transport youth to school, appointments, and activities.
• Support daily operations including meal prep and light upkeep.
• Document activities and participate in team meetings and training.
• Work with youth experiencing trauma, aggression, and behavioral challenges.
