Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. This part-time role supports kitchen and facility operations by keeping areas clean, sanitized, and organized during food production and service shifts.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, cleaning work tables, floors, walls, and equipment; restocking supplies; and assisting with basic setup and breakdown. Flexible shifts and a benefits-rich environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience required.
• Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning materials).
• Assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed.
