Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Fleet Ancillary Premise Cleaner for Halifax Station. The role involves cleaning, decontamination and related tasks to meet high cleanliness and infection prevention standards.

Working patterns are flexible within a 0600–0930 window, Monday to Friday, with potential shifts to cover 24/7 service needs and bank holidays. Basic PCA is required before an unconditional offer.

Qualifications

• Basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning, decontamination and related tasks across stations and sites to meet cleanliness and infection prevention standards.
• Follow Yorkshire Ambulance Service Cleaning Protocols, procedures and daily work schedules.
• Maintain cleaning material stocks and record daily activities; handle urgent spillages and deep cleaning as required.
• Log activities using basic IT tools (emails, timesheets).
