Purple Communications, Inc. seeks a part-time/flex interpreter to provide on-site American Sign Language interpretation at various customer locations as needed.

The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, accurate interpretation, and strict adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. Pay range is $15.74–$65 per hour, depending on location, education, certifications, and interpreter specialties.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture.
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials as applicable.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.

• Ability to independently travel. Where driving is required, access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and required insurance.
