Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced (Unarmed) in Bronx, NY. Fixed anchor shifts provide reliable base scheduling, with optional extra shifts via the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Expect a flexible, dependable role with opportunities to grow into a full-time schedule while maintaining part-time hours. Responsibilities include guarding residents and visitors, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring entries, and documenting events.

Qualifications

• Possess a current New York State Security Guard License.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background checks and drug screening are required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations; a driving license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers at a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications.
