Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in New York, NY. The role offers fixed shifts plus the option to pick up extra shifts, with a pay rate of $19.28 per hour.

Responsibilities include customer service to clients and staff, patrolling, verifying access, documenting incidents, and reporting daily activities. Requirements: at least six months of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
