Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience.

• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen will be performed where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries, and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, following visitor management and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents and observations as required.
