Job summary

All Allied Universal invites applications for the Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Hospitality role in Philadelphia, PA. This position offers reliable, fixed shifts at a designated site and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will greet visitors, verify IDs, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering professional service at a financial institution’s front desk.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific security‑related procedures, policies, and visitor‑management requirements.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and authorization as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other designated areas, report unauthorized activity, and help to deter potential security‑related concerns.
• Receive and direct guests, employees, deliveries, and service providers while maintaining a professional, courteous presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
