Allied Universal® in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Representative to provide customer service, screen visitors, and monitor access at a technology‑focused site. You will work a fixed anchor shift and have the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

This part‑time role requires security experience, a high school diploma, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, credentials, visitor access, and authorized items in accordance with site‑specific screening procedures for a technology‑focused location.
• Monitor entry points and visitor flow, verify access authorization, and document screening‑related activity in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
