Allied Universal in Forest, MS is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable access-control and security services at an aerospace/defense site. Pay is $14.96/hour with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

The role features a six-month anchor shift commitment at a designated site. It offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to advance to full‑time, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required for some roles; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor management systems, alarms, and cameras, and report irregular activity or access‑control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
