Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Administration in Bloomsburg, PA. This role offers reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Maintain accurate access‑control logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
