Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Credential Control in Forest, MS. This role provides reliable, fixed shifts at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will handle access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and document logs in line with site procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
Control access to restricted areas within an aerospace and defense location, escalating unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and support a controlled environment.
