Job summary

Buckle in the United States is seeking a Sales Teammate to fulfill our mission: to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks across the store, from greeting Guests to processing transactions and maintaining displays.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, knowledge of promotions and policies, and teamwork to achieve sales goals. Flexible scheduling and physical tasks are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and provide legendary service to each Guest.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience.
• Demonstrate product utilizing product knowledge and sales education, sharing that knowledge with Team.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Remain consistent on personal sales, and improve Teammates’ presentations with SPG.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales and total net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service throughout Front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Help Guests try on or fit merchandise.
• Check out and bag purchases.
• Prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Know exchange and return procedures and turn into a showmanship opportunity.
• Use Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) daily to accomplish goals.
• Meet or exceed Buckle’s performance standards, including loyalty and card programs.
• Place Special Orders or call other stores to find desired merchandise.
• Maintain and build good Guest relationships to develop a client-based business.
• Develop knowledge of Buckle’s customer service expectations to meet Guest needs.
• Perform leadership actions and maintain high standards regardless of Manager presence.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
