Job summary

Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Joliet, IL seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide in-home care and assessments, aligning with Happier Aging principles.

The role requires travel to client visits, flexible hours including early mornings or evenings, and strong communication skills to support families and Care Designers. Prior home health experience is preferred, with a focus on safe, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have IL RN license and be currently practicing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; home health care experience is asset.
• Ability to travel independently to client visits.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Shifts may include early morning, evening or overnight to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Creates Happier Aging experiences and client-focused care in home and community settings.
• Delivers on Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience and ensuring peace of mind for clients and families.
• Provides comprehensive nursing care and assessments as per scope of practice.
• Engages and communicates openly with Care Designer to elevate client care.
• Responds to CSC scheduling inquiries within the agreed timeline.
• Practices safely and competently within license limits and acts as a community leader.
