Job summary

Magical Moments ABA in Georgia is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support one-on-one and small group therapy sessions. You will follow the treatment plan created by BCBA, collect data, and help families implement strategies across settings.

Ideal candidates have an RBT certification, strong communication, and reliable time management. You will collaborate with BCBAs, other therapists, and caregivers to monitor progress and ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs
