Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support afternoon sessions. You will work directly with clients, follow BCBA-approved treatment plans, and document progress in Central Reach.

Ideal candidates hold an RBT certification and bring 6+ months of ABA exposure, with strong communication and organizational skills. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation.
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations.
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs.
