Qualifications

• Active PTA license issued by the state of Michigan.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification is required.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to support progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical, facility, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes.
