Job summary

Wonderschool in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Part-Time Substitute Teacher to support preschool and daycare partners. You will fill in for teachers on leave, provide a safe and engaging learning environment, and collaborate with a team of staff and the onsite program director.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 0-5 in care/learning settings.
• Able to pass a state background check and TB test/physical.
• Patient, dependable, and supportive of children's growth.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for teachers on leave (vacation, illness, personal matters).
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for children.
• Engage children in activities: educational games, arts & crafts, music, meals, outdoor play.
• Collaborate with a team of teachers under the onsite program director.
• Communicate with families about their child’s day and progress.
• Complete training and onboarding with Wonderschool.
