Job summary

Trilab Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a flexible Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and related lab tasks in a healthcare facility. This part-time, non-exempt role requires accuracy, compassion, and the ability to work with patients and staff.

You will collect specimens, verify patient identities, label samples, and follow OSHA/HIPAA safety protocols. Schedule: Tue 9:00am–1:00pm and Thu 9:00am–3:00pm with a total of 10 hours weekly. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and laboratory procedures professionally.
• Verify patient identities and maintain accurate records.
• Label and prepare specimens for transport with care.
• Educate patients on collection processes and safety protocols.
• Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA regulations and lab policies.
