Job summary

Aspire Transitional Care in Flagstaff is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. Shifts are Monday-Friday, totaling 20 hours per week, with four available 4-hour windows.

The phlebotomist will perform venipuncture and specimen collection, label and transport samples, follow safety and HIPAA requirements, and provide compassionate service in line with Platinum Service. Prior phlebotomy in healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program or equivalent training.
• Current phlebotomy certification preferred and may be required.
• Prior phlebotomy experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and resident identity before collection.
• Explain collection procedures in a calm, respectful manner.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections per policy.
• Label, document, and transport specimens accurately.
• Maintain specimen integrity and supply stock in the area.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards.
