Job summary

The Rise School of Denver is seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our energetic, transdisciplinary team. You will provide family-centered OT services in clinic, home, and classroom settings and collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and other specialists.

This flexible part-time role has potential to grow to a full caseload, offering opportunities to work with children aged 12 months to 7 years and to contribute to compelling, evidence-based treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
• NBCOT Board Certification.
• Colorado state professional license.
• 1 year of experience working with children ages 12 months–7 years with developmental delays in a school setting as an OT.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered, relationship-based occupational therapy services in clinic, home and/or classroom settings.
• Develop goals and treatment plans in collaboration with families (and additional service providers when applicable).
• Maintain progress documentation and complete required insurance documentation.
• Perform screenings and formal/ongoing evaluations with team members and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of all children and families in accordance with policies.
• Keep current required certifications and professional licenses (e.g., AOTA, Colorado license, CPR, First Aid).
• Participate in research studies or collaborations when indicated.
• Demonstrate professional appearance and teamwork.
