Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Saint Louis, MO. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform.

Pay rate is $23.10 per hour with a schedule including Monday to Friday options. Ideal candidates have customer service experience and familiarity with access control, badge handling, and basic computer use. Eligible applicants undergo background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
