Job summary

Pivot is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to deliver skilled OT services across Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Home Health settings. You will implement treatment plans to improve independence, safety, and functional performance under a licensed OT.

The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, strong clinical and communication skills, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards. Flexible part-time schedules are available with opportunities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active OTA license in good standing (state-specific).
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Provide interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor, coordination, strength, and mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses, progress, and changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety techniques, and adaptive equipment use.
• Complete accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care.
• Comply with HIPAA and federal/state regulations.
