Job summary

Buckingham Browne Nichols School in Watertown, MA is seeking Part-Time, As Needed Bus Drivers to join our transportation team. This on-call substitute role covers routes, shuttles, field trips and athletic events when regular drivers are unavailable, with flexible schedules.

Ideal candidates have CDL with endorsements, clean driving record, ability to work early mornings, weekends, and emergencies; 21+, DOT medical card, First Aid/CPR, and School Bus Certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CDL with Passenger/School Bus endorsements required.
• DOT medical card and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• School Bus Certification required or preferred.
• Massachusetts driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to and from school, field trips, and events.
• Transport sports teams and faculty between campuses as needed.
• Assist passengers on/off the bus and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Comply with all traffic laws and district policies.
