Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Charlotte, Waxhaw, Concord, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, NC, and surrounding areas. Join a veterinary team that prioritizes balance, personal well-being, and meaningful pet care through compassionate mobile hospice and euthanasia services.

The role offers flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with average 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, emphasizing time with families, mentorship, and a supportive network while practicing

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients' homes.
• Practice mobile veterinary medicine independently while delivering high-quality medical care.
• Maintain strong communication with families and support teams.
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
