Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to service assigned retail routes, display and maintain product inventory, and coordinate with store management. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independent work across multiple locations in Alabama.

No prior experience required; training is provided. The position involves 4 hours per week on average, with potential increases around holidays, and opportunities for advancement within the merchandising team.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product in greeting card departments and other locations, maintaining backroom areas and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment utilizing time management and organizational skills.
• Partner and build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
