Job summary

The IMA Group in Russellville, AR is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team on a part-time flex/regular schedule. You will support healthcare professionals by taking vital signs, preparing patients, and assisting with exams in a friendly, professional setting.

This role emphasizes patient care, accurate records, and teamwork. A high school diploma or equivalent and MA training are expected; certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and conducting medical evaluations.
• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and other tests.
• Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining medical records and responding to patient inquiries.
• Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies.
