Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a part-time math tutor to join our Willow Glen, Campbell-Los Gatos and Mountain View locations. Teach math to 2nd-12th grade students in a small-group setting, in-center, online, or hybrid.

You will work with a dedicated team, assess progress, and help students understand and love math using the Mathnasium Method, with after-school and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional math competency with higher level math including Alg. II, Trig, Precalculus and above.
• Math literacy test, work authorization, and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Ability to teach higher level math - Alg. II, Trig, PreCalc and Calculus level
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a small group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
